Industrial-Grade Cable-extension Transducers - PT8000/PT9000 - to address requirements of harsh factory duty. Enclosure now 0-ring sealed. Pioneered use of thicker cables. Pioneered traversing cable-guide mechanism (PT9000). 1994 I ntroduced
RT8000/RT9000 industrial-grade rotational position transducers. First developed to provide motor/position feedback for theatrical rigging applications. 1995 I ntroduced
cable extension motion conversion modules - PT8600/PT9600 - used first with absolute encoders for materials handling application. Introduction of OEM-specific designs for production of annual quantities 100 to 10,000 pieces. 1998 I ntroduced
the PT5 cable-extension position transducer that uses a unique thermo-plastic, Kevlar-like measurement cable for exceptional strength, durability and reduced inertia for high acceleration/deceleration applications.
