Canoga Park, CA -- Manufacturers of equipment requiring
a compact position measurement device can now get a proven transducer engineered
to fit their measurement, electrical, price, and quantity requirements.
Celesco Transducer Products, the leading manufacturer of cable-extension
position transducers, has announced its new OEM line of transducers which
can be engineered to meet an Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) specific
requirements when ordering quantities of 100 or more.
The remarkable flexibility of these transducers make them ideal for manufacturers of medical devices, HVAC equipment, physical fitness equipment and other equipment requiring position measurement. It frees them from designing a transducer and allows them to benefit from Celesco's 25 years of proven transducer design and assembly experience. OEMs are assured of getting a high-quality, cost-effective solution that meets their specific requirements. Models are available in measurement ranges from 2 to 100 inches (or 50 to 2,000 millimeters) and in virtually any output. Potentiometric-based transducers provide a voltage resolution that is essentially infinite. Encoder-based transducers provide from a few to thousands of pulses per inch. Installation is so simple that it takes only minutes, dramatically reducing labort time and costs. Simply bolt the assembly to a stationary object, hook up the extension cable to the moveable object, and attach an electrical connector. It does not require perfectly parallel alignment, and its compact housing enables it to fit neatly into tight areas. The OEM line is part of Celesco's complete family of linear position and velocity transducers. Many Celesco transducers operate in temperature ranges from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. Their resolution is essentially infinite. They are available in measurement ranges from 0" to 2" to 0" to 1750" and they are used in a variety of other applications -- from hydraulic ram monitoring in metal stamping plants, valve monitoring in hydroelectric plants, speed monitoring of extrusion presses, to motion synchronization of hydraulic lifts. Celesco, headquartered in Canoga Park, California, designs, manufacturers and markets a wide range of transducers and related precision instruments. The company is the world's largest supplier of cable-extension position transducers which are used to detect and measure linear position and velocity. Its other families of transducers are used for measuring rotational position and differential pressure. Celesco also manufacturers thermocouple reference junctions. OEMs and end users choose Celesco transducers because of their high accuracy, resolution, and repeatability. The company, founded int 1968, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tedea, Ltd. |
