| The new rugged Celesco PT5AV is
a combination position / velocity transducer designed for extra-long life in high
acceleration / deceleration applications, such as die casting, drop testing, injection
molding and crash testing. This cable-extension device provides accurate measurement
with a precision plastic-hybrid potentiometer for position feedback and a self-generating
DC tachometer velocity signal that is roportional to the speed of the traveling cable.
the PT5AV features a sealed extruded anodized aluminum case and an optional
high-strength, low-mass thermoplastic cable for high-velocity measurements. Cable
ranges available from 10 to 150 inches. Position accuracy 0.25% to 0.15%, velocity
linearit 0.10%. Environmental suitability for NEMA 4 and IP65. The PT5AV can be installed in minutes, function accurately without perfect cable alignment and fit into areas that are unsuitable for rod-type measurement devices. The cable exit can be rotated relative to the mounting surface to provide four different cable exit orientations. The PT5AV is available with 24-hour delivery. |
